Gina helps Main Street Movers clients by coordinating and overseeing their local and interstate moves.

Her previous moving industry experience and her work for a bus company where she scheduled routes caught the attention of a recruiter who arranged the interview with Tom and Karen. The meeting went well…very well. The rest, as they say, is history.

There are a lot of moving pieces to overseeing moves, Gina says. As a coordinator, you have to connect a lot of pieces. Your antennae always have to be up. You can’t miss a beat. And all this is perfectly fine with Gina because attention to detail is her thing.

Right from that interview, Gina knew this position would be a great match for her. Tom and Karen are wonderful people, she says. Their values and what they stand for align perfectly with her view of the world, Gina adds. “They walk the talk, and it’s great to be part of such an authentic team. We’re able to ‘be ourselves’ when interacting with colleagues and the management team.”

Plus, she says that an environment like this creates much opportunity for growth.

Words to Live By

Your only work is to love yourself, value yourself, and embody this truth of self-worth and self-love so that you can be love in action. That is true service, to yourself and to those who surround you.

And Outside the Office...

Off the clock, Gina enjoys reading, creative writing and journaling, and walking. She loves nature which makes her walks even more pleasurable. She’s also on a mission to develop spiritually. “The metaphysical is my jam,” she says.

Gina has experienced two great losses over the past 12 years: her mom in 2008 and her best friend in 2014. “These were horrific losses for me.” It was only by connecting with a spiritual teacher that she worked through her grief and came to understand the continuity of life. “This mentor completely changed everything for me.”
